Oils

I first picked up oils in 2021, but it wasn't until early 2023 that I began dedicating enough of my time to really fall in love with the medium. I now work exclusively in oils, and am enjoying exploring and expanding my creative vision with every piece I do.

My oils focus more heavily on my connection to the natural world through my Kemetic (or Ancient Egyptian) pagan spirituality; I use bold brushstrokes, colour, and light to weave in subtle, contemporary interpretations of Ancient Egyptian religious iconology. With each piece I hope to create powerful, dynamic pieces which speak to the personality of the animal depicted, and represent the divine power of nature.​
